Beautiful deco Hamilton Platinum watch with 135 diamonds at approx. 2.5 CT. Heavy band weighs 29g of platinum . The bracelet measures 6 1/2 " long. The clarity of the diamonds are SI 1 or better and the color of the stones are G (white)
Art Deco diamond, platinum, 18k and 14k gold Gruen ladies watch. This beautiful watch is circa 1930's. The watch itself is a combination of 18k and platinum and the band is 14k white gold. The watch and band look like they are all original to the period and piece. There are 6 old European round cut diamonds and 56 round single cut diamonds for a total weight of 1.50 Cts. The diamonds are clean VS clarity and bright white H-I color. Most of the diamond weight is made up from the three diamonds on either side of the watch face. The watch is a Gruen mechanical and is running. I was told by the owner that she had just had it serviced. The watch measures 6 inches long so it is for a smaller wrist. It is 1/2 inch wide at the widest. It has a safety chain and also a safety type catch. The retail replacement value is $5750.00 and the independent appraisal is included when the watch is purchased.
